Trend analysis

RATELs Benchmark mobile networks has been performed according to the ETSI TR 103559 Annex A for three years. Trend of results through three years of benchmark are present below in the Figure 1.

All three operators have been improved the final score through last three years. This year the greatest improvement of final score achieved by Yettel, more than 4 points better results than in 2022. A1 Srbija has improved the final score for more than 3 points, and Telekom Srbija achieved 1,61 points better result than in 2022.

From the beginning of the Benchmark of mobile networks in Serbia, performed by RATEL over the years, the Benchmark project of ranking the operators, has changed significantly, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. On Figure 2 is Final Score for four first years benchmark campaigns based on scoring methodology developed by Systemics-PAB. Over the years of mobile networks benchmarking in Serbia all operators have improved their network quality. First final average results were about 50 points of 100. In the meantime, operators have implemented a new technology in mobile network, LTE and have been working in continuity all the time on the quality of networks and services for the pleasure of their end users.

Please note that in order to distinguish the compared year-to-year results, the following shade code was used. The lightest colour was used to represent the 2017 results and the darkest the 2023 results.

One note more, since March 2022, Telenor officially operates under the name of Yettel and has changed company colour in light green, instead of light blue. VIP mobile changed the name too, and from 2022. start to be A1 Serbia.
